Hey, does anyone know of a brand of microphone that's pretty good quality yet not so expensive it ;will make me faint.

what kind of microphone are you looking for or what are you planning on using it for?

sure are a good make, but you can end up paying for those.

headset mic, just for in general. I'd like an audio mic rather than USB as those tend to break. It would be neat if it was great for vocals, but just for general purpose is really what I need it for.

Well what price range.? Behringer and Nady are your budget brands but read reviews before going with anything by those brands as it can be either a really good deal or a piece of junk depending on the product. Shure along with audio Technica and AKG are good stuff. Personally i would go with inexpensive audio technica or even akg over shure. CAD is another brand to look at as well.

I got a Cad C195 (I think that's the model number) and have been very pleased. You'll need a mixer or an adapter to convert phantom powered XLR to USB.

I like the blue snow ball. It's about $100.00 and is usb. Sounds great.
